Down East Noodle Bowl

The idea for the Down East Noodle Bowl comes from my son, Kim. In a discussion about what my new specialty bowl for 2020 would be, he reminded me of my great love for noodle soup.

The decision was made. I returned home and made my first Noodle Bowl. it was very simple, a bowl with holes for chopsticks. The next weekend I returned to the Mall Show with my new Noodle Bowl, display picture and all.

It is always exciting to wonder what the public response will be to a new product, I did not have long to wait. My first shopper looked the bowl over and asked if I could make it with a handle. Sure, was my response and the Down East Noodle Bowl Deluxe was off and running. I added the Korean Noodle/Soup spoon and my recipe for my style of soup, complete with a touch of Down East Maine, SEAFOOD.
